Time will never stand still and those moments that bring us such joy become memories in an instant. To capture such a moment and record it forever is truly monumental. ~Joshua Atticks~
A fun project with your grandchild would be to create photo memories by making a photo cake. Your cake would be made as you would normally make the cake of your choice. A non-toxic, edible photograph can be printed out and used to decorate your cake.
The photo is the easy part of the project. Select one of your favorite pictures of your grandchild alone or maybe with you. Remember, you are creating a memory for him/her to last forever. You will give the photo you selected to the baker. The photo is scanned and printed out on an edible paper icing sheet made from rice, potatoes or cornstarch. The ink used to imprint the picture onto the paper is made from food coloring.
Don’t forget to take pictures during the cake making process. You have just created a wonderful photo memory while making a photo cake.
