How Do You Write on a Graham Cracker?

Remember Alpha-Bits? The cereal that comes in the shape of letters?

You can use it to let your grandchildren write messages on a graham cracker.

English: A stack of Nabisco Graham Crackers.

Ingredients:

  • Alphabet cereal
  • Flat, rectangular crackers, like graham
  • Peanut butter
  • Jelly

Instructions:

  • Spread the peanut butter on one cracker
  • Spread the jelly on another cracker
  • Spell out messages or names on each cracker with the alphabet cereal.

This is a great activity for grandchildren just learning to read, because they can practice spelling without having to form the letters themselves.

And, eating their messages afterwards is just part of the fun!

Thanks to Fisher-Price for this activity.
